Kurt Campbell is an artist and academic based at the Michaelis School of Fine Art. His exhibition Night Fighter dealt with themes directly related to aesthetics and race as manifest in the early boxing culture of Britain. Kurt has most recently published on the importance of boxing in the leadership of Nelson Mandela in Harvard’s Transition journal.
