A series of text based conceptual paintings by Malcolm Payne. Payne lectured in Painting and Videography at the Michaelis School of Fine Art, UCT, and is known for his politically engaged as well as conceptual art. He took early retirement in 2009 and left the Universtiy of Cape Town as an Emeritus Professor of the University. He currently lives and works in Switzerland.
